Being a bit of a fan of Fighter sims and since it's been sooo long since we have seen any decent titles come out (I think the last one was 'Lock On Modern Combat') if this one turns out to be any good it will be on my shopping list, maybe i can finally make use of the much dust covered MS Sidewinder PRo Force Feedback II stick that has been unused for like 4 years....
It's been a while since we've heard anything from Ubisoft about their upcoming flying/shooting title, Tom Clancy's HAWX - but today that's set to change.
If you've been interested in seeing what the in-game footage looks like for this new air combat title, you're in luck. We've got a new Developer Diary video for your viewing pleasure, and have followed that up with a couple of brand new screenshots.
Information on the game's still pretty sparse, with Ubisoft remaining pretty tight-lipped on the topic of HAWX. That may all change at next week's E3 summit, but right now, we know that the game's scheduled for release before the end of the year for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and it's looking pretty spiffy indeed.
Ubisoft today announced that a PS3 demo of Tom Clancy’s HAWX will be released on February 12; a day after the Xbox 360 demo will be available. A PC demo is expected two weeks later, though.
All versions of the demo will offer two missions, three planes and four-player online cooperative support.
Additionally, Ubisoft confirmed that the PC version of the game will be released one week after the console editions, which are due March 6. This move is similar to what the company took with Prince of Persia and Shaun White Snowboarding, both of which saw their PC releases delayed a week after the console versions.
