A tweak has been discovered for the Crysis demo which allows you to play on 'very high' graphics quality in XP. Previously this option was only available to Vista owners. When applying this 'tweak' the ingame options for 'very high' will still be grayed out however the 'high' settings will become the new 'very high' settings.
You notice the difference from both the graphical quality and the performance hit on your pc.
Download the tweak: (16kb)

Then overwrite the files in the directory ...Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config\CVarGroups,
then fire up the game.
